Having trained originally as an actress she
worked in many TV, radio and theatre productions, including doing
three plays at the Royal National Theatre. As well as performing
regularly on radio and TV, her comedy singing group 'Bellacappella'
have entertained in venues all over the world - from army bases in
the
Falklands, to the Royal Festival Hall, where they supported the Chieftains
and Ralph McTell.
She has penned articles for magazines, presented
traffic news to residents of Sussex and Hampshire, written sketches
for radio and television comedy shows, and performed stand-up comedy
all round the country, Edinburgh festival included, as well as
launching and compering the first and only weekly female stand-up
comedy club 'Hersterics'.
As a voiceover she has worked extensively in all aspects of the
industry: from international TV and radio advertising campaigns to
multimedia
applications, from continuity to cartoons, from station
imaging to on-hold phone systems, from documentary narration to
radio drama. Turn on any TV or radio set in the country and you're
sure to hear her voice... and fingers crossed, she never WILL have
to get a proper job!
